Star Jumps / Jumping Jacks
- Start by standing up straight, with your hands at your hips and your feet together, as if waiting in line.
- Slightly bend your knees and then lightly jump upwards.
- Once airborne, allow your feet to travel outwards, just a little. As you do so, raise both arms out and up in a smooth arc until your hands meet above your head.
- Land with your feet about 1-foot apart, and your hands together in the air.
- Then, jump once again and reverse the motion to end in the starting position!
- Did you know, that the most star jumps ever completed in one minute is 136! That’s almost 2.5 star jumps every second!
