Exercise Illustration Usage Guidelines
WorkoutLabs exercise illustrations, animations and visual workout content are original copyrighted works. These Guidelines explain what may be shared without a separate license, what requires permission and what is not allowed.

Use individual illustrations
Apps, websites, courses, publications, patient materials and commercial projects require a written license.
Not allowed
Extract, modify or build a library
Do not remove images from WorkoutLabs materials, alter them, scrape them or use them to create substitute assets.
Ownership and scope
WorkoutLabs owns the underlying visual content
WorkoutLabs exercise illustrations are original copyrighted works owned by WorkoutLabs LLC. Portions of the library are registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, including Registration No. VA0001972444.
These Guidelines apply to WorkoutLabs exercise illustrations, yoga pose illustrations, animations, muscle diagrams, exercise instructions, structured exercise metadata, workout layouts and related visual content collectively referred to as “WorkoutLabs Content.”
WorkoutLabs reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Guidelines, the applicable WorkoutLabs product terms or a separate written license.
Attribution is not permission. Giving credit, adding a link or leaving a watermark visible does not by itself authorize use. You may use WorkoutLabs Content only where these Guidelines, the applicable Fit or Train Terms or a written agreement expressly permit it.
Limited public sharing permission
What you may do without a separate license
WorkoutLabs grants a limited, non-exclusive and revocable permission for the following uses, provided every condition below is satisfied.
You may:
- Link directly to a public WorkoutLabs webpage, exercise guide page, yoga guide page or workout page
- Use the standard sharing tools provided on a public WorkoutLabs page
- Occasionally share a complete, unmodified workout PDF that WorkoutLabs itself has made publicly available for sharing
- Occasionally share an unmodified image of a complete public WorkoutLabs workout page with all branding, copyright notices and watermarks visible
Every shared item must:
- Remain complete and unmodified
- Keep all WorkoutLabs branding, copyright notices and watermarks intact
- Identify WorkoutLabs as the source and copyright owner
- Link to the original WorkoutLabs page where technically possible
- Be shared for a genuinely non-commercial purpose
- Not imply that you created, own or are endorsed by WorkoutLabs
- Not form a recurring series, content library, database or core part of your content strategy

This public permission does not allow reposting individual exercise or yoga illustrations, even when the image is watermarked or attribution is included. A written license is required for individual illustration use.
Prohibited use
What you may not do
Unless a written agreement with WorkoutLabs expressly permits it, you must not:
- Extract or isolate an individual illustration, animation, muscle diagram or other asset from a webpage, screenshot, PDF, Fit output or Train output
- Remove, crop out, obscure or bypass a watermark, copyright notice, attribution or technical protection
- Recolor, trace, redraw, animate, edit or otherwise create a derivative version of WorkoutLabs Content
- Use WorkoutLabs Content as a visual reference to create substantially similar substitute assets
- Scrape, crawl, bulk download or systematically collect images, instructions, metadata or other content
- Create an exercise, yoga, rehabilitation or workout library using WorkoutLabs Content
- Sell, sublicense, redistribute or make WorkoutLabs Content available for others to download
- Upload WorkoutLabs Content to a stock library, template marketplace, shared repository or asset database
- Use WorkoutLabs Content in an app, software product, website, course, ebook, publication, presentation, advertisement, paid membership or commercial social media campaign
- Use WorkoutLabs Content in brochures, posters, patient handouts, exercise cards or other printed materials except where the Train Terms or a written agreement expressly permit it
- Use WorkoutLabs Content to train, test, benchmark or improve an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system
- Provide WorkoutLabs Content as input to an image-generation, image-to-image or style-transfer system to create substitute illustrations
- Use WorkoutLabs Content to build, train or improve a competing exercise platform, content library or visual style
- Use WorkoutLabs names, logos or illustrations in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, certification or clinical approval
- Use WorkoutLabs Content for an unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, pornographic or harmful purpose
Commercial and professional use
Need the illustrations for your product or program?
WorkoutLabs licenses static and animated exercise illustrations, yoga visuals and structured exercise metadata for digital, clinical, educational and commercial projects.

The examples below are not exhaustive. Contact WorkoutLabs before using an individual illustration or content library outside the narrow public sharing permission above.
Apps and software
Mobile apps, web applications, SaaS products, APIs and digital health platforms.
Healthcare materials
Clinic resources, patient education, rehabilitation materials and home exercise programs outside permitted Train use.
Publishing and education
Books, ebooks, courses, textbooks, presentations, articles and downloadable learning materials.
Marketing and social media
Advertising, sponsored content, recurring social posts and commercial content campaigns.
Print and physical products
Cards, posters, brochures, event materials, signage, packaging and products distributed to customers.
Raw files and metadata
PNG, SVG, MP4, GIF, exercise instructions, muscle data and other structured content.
Fit and Train materials
Product access does not transfer ownership of the illustrations
Fit and Train each provide specific rights to use generated workouts. Those rights are governed by the applicable product Terms and do not allow extraction of the underlying assets.
WorkoutLabs Fit
Fit members may use locked workout PDFs for their own personal, non-commercial exercise purposes. Fit illustrations may not be extracted, edited, redistributed or used to create a separate exercise library.

Authorized Train users may deliver Train-generated materials to permitted patients, clients, members or staff as described in the Train Terms or a signed agreement. The underlying illustrations may not be isolated or reused outside those materials.

Written agreements control licensed use
If you have a signed illustration license, API agreement or other written agreement with WorkoutLabs, that agreement controls your use. These public Guidelines do not expand, replace or modify the rights granted in your agreement.
Enforcement
WorkoutLabs may request removal, disable access, submit platform, hosting or search complaints and pursue injunctive relief, damages, profits, costs, attorneys’ fees or other remedies where appropriate.
Failure to act against one use does not waive WorkoutLabs’ rights concerning that use or another use.

WorkoutLabs may update these Guidelines from time to time. An update to this public page does not modify a separately signed agreement. Nothing in these Guidelines limits rights that cannot be restricted under applicable law.
